Prostitution: Is it a Feminist Issue?

Should sex work be abolished/illegal (is it always oppressive to women), or should feminists work for laws to make it safer and to protect women involved in sex work?

I believe prostitution or Brothel solicitation should be legal. As long as it is done in a professional manner like in Las Vegas. My question to others is; why not,its a business like selling liquor...without endangering yourself or others. Which one kills and which one doesn't? I wouldnt care if a customer comes out of a prostitution house happy; but I would care if a drunk man comes out of a bar and gets behind the wheel.
I dont't hear about Amsterdam and Vegas on the news concerning prostitution, but I do hear about DUI's in every single state, city, and town. Let people conduct their safe personnal business behind closed doors. Its called privacy.

P.S- Most likely no female is going to fight for laws to permit prostitution, but I believe females will work there for high wages to feed their kids.
